3. Data from Social Media Platforms (Meta / TikTok / others)

3.1 Meta technologies (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

When you connect Meta accounts or authorize our app, we receive data from Meta as permitted by the Meta Platform Terms and your settings. We use this data to:

We use Meta data only to provide and improve the Services you request, to comply with law, and to enforce our Terms. We do not sell data we receive from Meta, and we do not use Meta data to build separate profiles for targeted advertising outside of what Meta itself provides through its tools.

You can disconnect your Meta accounts at any time via your account settings or within the relevant Meta product. After disconnection, we will stop collecting new data from Meta and will handle previously collected data in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. You may also contact us to request deletion of Meta-derived data associated with your account, subject to our legal and contractual obligations.

  • Publish content or manage drafts and schedules you configure.
  • Retrieve analytics on performance, audience, and engagement.
  • Support AI features related to your TikTok content and strategies.
  • Process lead data you explicitly choose to sync (for example, from TikTok lead forms) for your CRM or sales workflows.

We use TikTok-derived data only for these purposes and for related security, compliance, and support functions. We do not sell TikTok data and do not share TikTok data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

You can disconnect TikTok at any time from within the Services. We will stop collecting new TikTok data after disconnection and will handle existing data as described in this Policy. You may request deletion of TikTok-derived data subject to our legal and contractual obligations.

3.3 Other third party platforms

We may support additional integrations (for example, other social networks, CRMs, ad platforms, communication tools). Data received through those integrations is processed only to provide the integrated features you enable and for related security, support, and improvement purposes, consistent with this Policy and the relevant third party terms.

Where laws like the GDPR apply, we process personal information under the following legal bases:

  • Performance of a contract – to provide the Services you request, including account management, content scheduling, and AI features.
  • Legitimate interests – to maintain and improve the Services, secure our systems, prevent abuse, and communicate with you about relevant updates.
  • Consent – for certain optional activities, such as some marketing communications and, in some cases, analytics or cookies.
  • Legal obligation – where processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws or regulations.

5. How We Share Information

We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service providers and sub-processors

We engage trusted third party service providers who process information on our behalf to help operate, secure, and improve the Services (for example, cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing, and customer support). These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect personal information and use it only according to our instructions.

5.2 Third party platforms you connect

When you enable integrations with third party platforms, we share information as necessary to operate those integrations, consistent with your configuration and the third party’s terms and policies.

5.3 Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to:

  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes.

5.5 Aggregated or de-identified data

We may share aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, for example for analytics, research, or product improvement.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, and comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods vary based on the type of data and the context of our relationship with you. For example, we generally retain:

  • Account and billing information for as long as your account is active and for a period afterward as required for legal, accounting, or reporting obligations.
  • Customer Content for as long as your account is active or until you delete it or request deletion, subject to backups and legal requirements.
  • Data derived from social platforms for as long as you maintain the relevant integrations and for a limited period afterward, unless you request earlier deletion where feasible.

We may retain some information in backups or archives for a limited time, subject to technical constraints.

  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

You can exercise many of these rights through your account settings. You may also contact us using the information in Section 12. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may not be able to fulfill some requests where we have overriding legitimate grounds or legal obligations.

You may opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe links in those emails. Even after you opt out, we may still send you non-marketing communications, such as service or transactional messages.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for or directed to children under 13 years of age or the minimum age of digital consent in the relevant jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in that age range.

If you believe a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Policy, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete the information.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Last updated” date at the top and will be effective when posted. For material changes, we may provide additional notice, such as by email or in-product notifications.
